Are you blessed with a Microsoft retail store in your area? If so, you may want to check and see if the staff are willing to present workshops for homeschoolers. I just received an e-mail through a local homeschool Yahoo group about the soon-to-open Microsoft store in our area offering a variety of opportunities for homeschoolers and homeschool parents.
Presentation topics could include animation, game creation and writing and students will get to use and learn about the latest in Microsoft technology. We are now signed up for an introductory 6-week course (thank you, Tangela!) and the kids and I are so excited.
