CPR For Damaged Hair

I learn so much from the infographics on BlackHairInformation.com. Anyone of any race could benefit from the many tips on growing healthy hair on the site. Articles include tips on dealing with hair of many types, including naturally curly or relaxed.

I found this infographic particularly helpful as I was seeking to develop a recipe to protect our hair from the heat of the blow dryer or flat iron. Although we do not use these tools often, we do need to use them sometime so I wanted to protect our accordingly.

Because of the information on ceramides, I settled on a simple oil protectant recipe using shea butter and grapeseed oil, both of which I happened to have. I added some lavender scent and it left Alyssa's hair nice and soft and shiny tonight.  I have included the infographic below. Many thanks to BlackHairInformation.com for providing so many wonderful infographics on healthy hair care.
